Now that I am using a Samsung Android phone, my Apple Watch was no longer living up to its potential. So, I waited for a Samsung Galaxy Watch to go on sale. The 5 is the latest, but the Watch 4 was going for pretty cheap so I grabbed one. Plus there was always the possibility that I was going to change my mind and decide I wanted to go back to my cozy Apple world, so I did not want to spend a crapton of money I wouldn't make back selling it all used.
Also around the same time I found a refurbished Samsung Galaxy Tab S7+ as a refurbished model, reduced price because the S8 had just been released. I just had to try it to see if would make a decent iPad replacement. That's a tall order. I use my iPad for everything. I have a MacBook Pro that barely gets used anymore. My iPad with a keyboard has been my go to since I got it. Can a Samsung Tablet do the same job?
First major difference is the screen size. The 12" screen on my iPad Pro looks massive. The screen on the S7+ says it's 12.7", but looks smaller but wider.
The iPad Pencil sticks to the top magnetically while charging, while the S7's stylus clips to the back. Apple's Magic Keyboard has no storage spot for the Pencil. The Samsung keyboard case has a cover to keep the stylus from falling off and getting lost.

The S7 is on the left, iPad on the right. S7 on top.
