Today was the practical. I predicted yesterday that if I get stuck on prep with the other guy who has his practical today, prep would suffer while we were both working on our practical. Today that prediction came true, to the point that I almost did not get my practical done. We had a LOT of stuff to prep, since it’s the weekend, but everyone else in class pitched in to help us. I barely got my practical done by 11:00 (it was closer to 11:10.) I got a lot of positive feedback on it too, so I am happy. Lunch was very busy, but we got through it fine. At the end of class, the Chef told us we did a fantastic job, and he was very proud of us.
Next Tuesday is table service. Ick. I have a feeling it’s gonna suck. I’ve never been good dealing with the public.
