I got my grades for the last three classes. Inventory Management: Meets Standards. Meh. Okay, so I didn’t do anything that stood out. Intro to Computers: Exceeds Standards. I would have been upset with anything less, although there was one spot where he marked down “Use of Windows Explorer” as “Meets Standard.” Dude, I could teach that class in my sleep (which works out well considering most of the students sleep in class anyway.) And then, the one that shocked me the most, Meat Fabrication: Exceeds Standards. Like, wow. I was expecting to pass, but Exceeds? Holy Shit, Batman. That one just about knocked me over. However, and I know there will be chuckles… the Meat Fab comments included the word “relax.” I think I have heard that word come out of every one of my instructors, as well as the Student Advisor. (I told her I would get a T-Shirt that says, “Frankie Says Relax.” If you don’t know where that comes from, you’re up past your bed time.)
I expect to do well in AM Cafeteria. I dunno how well I will do in Sanitation Class. And the Professional Development class is mostly telling us how to pursue our internships, so as long as I show up for class, I think I’ll be okay.
